Before you touch your piercingâeven to look at itâwash your hands. Clean hands help prevent infections,Â
irritation, and all the stuff you donât want when healing.

Skip the antibacterial soap. It can cause more irritation than help.Â

Use a clean Q-tip to gently remove debris
